Charistik is the brand of the textile designer Rosario Arenas. Interested in exchanging cultures, she is dedicated to teaching textile design workshops promoting Peruvian culture, in addition to creating patterns with artisanal techniques where she translates her concepts into prints with a unique ability to anticipate and incorporate trends, providing a new perspective to the world of design.

 

Rosario Arenas (1985, Peru). Graphic and Textile Designer. She studied Graphic Design (San Ignacio de Loyola Institute, Lima-Peru) and then completed higher studies in Spain. She has a master's degree in Fashion Brand Management (Esdesign, Barcelona) and won a scholarship in Textile and Surface Design (IED, Madrid). She also participated in the Moda Fad Barcelona 2023 sustainable challenge addressing the gender perspective in fashion. She is currently dedicated to textile and fashion design, with a practice that integrates graphic innovation, sustainability, and artisan collaborations.
